Our congregation, located in Northwest Indiana, seeks a lead pastor to minister from within a leadership group of pastors and elders. We are a body wherein the free movement of the Holy Spirit is encouraged, with exercise of discernment and oversight that is firmly grounded in God’s Word. Known for vibrant worship, relaxed atmosphere, extensive children’s ministry and visible outreach into the community, our congregation of around 375 has been richly blessed during its 13-year history with growth, both in numbers and in spiritual depth. Our congregation practices what would be called “Biblical elder-led government” where the lead pastor ministers as the “first among equals.” Our congregation seeks a godly pastor with a master’s level or equivalent of educational training with a base experience preferred of 8 to 10 years of effective pastoral ministry. We believe God will provide a pastor that is spirit led, with a shepherd’s heart, as we press forward to extend God’s Kingdom into our community.
