ACCC is seeking a Pastor and mature man of God to lead his flock into a deeper relationship with the Lord as well as to provide direction and leadership as the church serves both the believers and non-believers in the area. Besides heading the Chinese congregation, he shall coordinate with the English Pastor to ensure a smooth and cohesive management of the church. Job Description: • Coordinates with the board of deacons in establishing the vision and direction of the church • Sets specific steps or plans in order to lead the church towards attaining its goals/visions • Preaches on Sundays, evangelical meetings and other special meetings as needed • Invites and coordinates with guest speakers for regular or special meetings • Promotes evangelism • Provides discipleship training • Provides counseling as the need arises • Leads and facilitates church meetings or activities as needed like prayer meetings, Sunday school classes, baptismal classes, etc. • Provides spiritual insight and guidance on relevant issues concerning the church body Qualifications: • Spiritual  Must be a man of good character, endurance and reputation with the qualifications of an overseer as stated in 1 Timothy 3:1-7  Must have a genuine and clear calling from the Lord to shepherd a Chinese church in America as defined in 1 Peter 5:1  Is excited about God’s word and must be able to correctly handle the word of God and feed his flock  Is passionate about drawing near to the Lord  Is committed to being fully submitted to the Lord • Ministry  Is a leader who thrives in working with a team of driven co-workers  Has a strong commitment for evangelizing and disciplining students  Feeds and nurtures families as they work to fulfill the mission of the church  Must agree, affirm and promote the core values of the church in: o Worship: drawing near to the Lord and glorifying Him o Missions: leading people to Christ in fulfillment of the Great Commission o Maturity: growing spiritually and being a living testimony for Christ o Fellowship: loving each other in the Lord and being united in one accord o Ministry: serving one another in selfless humility • Education  Has a Master’s degree in Divinity or its equivalent  Is fluent in Mandarin language and functional in English • Others  Married preferred
