Briarwood Presbyterian Church in Birmingham, Alabama is seeking to hire a full-time Membership Pastor to provide leadership for our Membership Ministry to an over 4000 member church. He will provide the shepherding and leadership necessary to develop and maintain the effective enfolding and assimilating of visitors and members into the life of our church. He will have a shepherding role in the Church and serve on the Briarwood Staff Leadership Team. The Membership Pastor’s Major Responsibilities are: Shepherd our New Members into the life of the Church; Direct the Visitor to our Membership Process; Serve the Shepherding Team and Community Pastors; Lead the Membership Administration; and Serve as a Shepherding Pastor on the Shepherding Team.
