Alexandria Community Church (ACC) is an inter-denominational church looking for a pastor to lead its multi-cultural English speaking congregation. ACC has served as a light to the Alexandrian community for over 50 years. We are seeking God for a pastor who will mobilize the congregation of ACC in the areas of worship, pastoral care and outreach to the community. Our Mission: Our purpose at ACC is to glorify God by being Christ's ambassadors among the international community in Alexandria, worshipping the Lord together, fellowshipping together, encouraging and supporting one another, and equipping each person for witness and service so that more may come to know the saving grace of Jesus Christ. Our Call: To mobilize the existing congregation to worship God, grow strong in Him and serve as ambassadors for Christ to the international community in Alexandria so that more and more people will join us in worshipping, growing and serving. Alexandria is a city of 3-5 million. There is an English speaking community of approximately 2000+ people made up of business, military and education personnel. There are American, British, German and French schools in the community which serve the international business community. As well, there is a strong contingent of African students as well as Korean families. ACC’s weekly attendance averages about 90 people from various nationalities. From this base there is an excellent opportunity to reach out to the English speaking community and build the church. ACC has an active lay leadership and reaches out to the community via Bible studies, socials, ministering to the Sudanese community, the Bible Society and other charitable organizations.
