Winchester Congregational Christian Church (WCCC), in Winchester IN, is adding a new full time position – Young Adult / Worship pastor. WCCC is a growing, conservative, evangelical, Bible believing church in rural east central Indiana. We are passionate about reaching lost souls for Jesus Christ. We believe the Lord is calling us to focus on reaching the young adult generation (college age - early 30s - “Millenniums”) that is falling away from the church in droves. The key duties will include: Minister to the young adults in and out of the church, single and married. Developing small groups and bible studies for that age group. Serve as the primary teacher, visionary, and communicator for young adult ministries. Be the shepherd of the young adult flock. Be very relational and live life with the young adult community. Serve as our lead worship leader for all services, both contemporary and blended. Lead the Music Ministry team and work with the Senior pastor to coordinate worship with the weekly message. Education and experience: Bachelor’s degree – emphasis in Bible preferred. Past experience in ministry preferred. Must have a Pastor’s heart and a passion for reaching young people for Christ. Candidates should be proficient in guitar or piano (keys), preferably both. Also should be comfortable to serve as a lead vocalist and worship leader. This is a full time position with benefits.
